Do you like beer and fun? Who doesn’t, right? A friend and I decided to grab a beer before going to the Wild game at the Xcel Energy Center last weekend and we stopped at The Bulldog (located across from Mears Park and two blocks from Wacouta Commons/Essex on the Park). This place has nearly 40 beers on tap and 100 different beers all together! The selection is endless – you are guaranteed to find something you like. There are domestics and imported beer from Asia and Europe. I’ve heard the food is decent and the service is run of the mill, but the variety of the beer is definitely a reason to keep going back! The atmosphere is a typical “sports bar” theme, with flats screens all over the place. But what keeps this place unique, besides the brew, is the 22’ shuffle board. All in all, I really liked this bar and will definitely be going back again.
