Looking for something to do this Halloween? St Paul has more than enough going on to keep you entertained!
For the kids:
ZooBoo at Como Zoo – October 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30th from 4:30-7:30pm
This annual fund raising event is a non-scary Halloween celebration at the Como Zoo. It is catered to children ages 3-10, but all are welcome. The zoo will be transformed into a magical fairytale land that your kids will adore. There will be over 200 costumed characters to interact with as well many other “Halloween surprises”. The event is held outside and kids are encouraged wear a costume and dress for the weather! Money raised at this event will go to the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory. Dia de Los Muertos – Day of the Dead Celebration – Saturday – October 29, 2011
The Minnesota History Center in St. Paul, MN is putting on their annual Dia de Los Muertos celebration. This fest is a time to remember loved ones that have passed on and retain a strong connection with them. From noon to 4pm, there will be several events to enjoy such as: Aztec dancers, a puppet show, and an alter created by local artist Elizabeth Pangerl. There will be shadow boxes to decorate as well as a clay skull making workshop. There will also be games, prizes, food and more! For more info, visit the Minnesota History Website.

Lowertown BOOs Bash Bar Crawl – Saturday – October 29, 2011
If you are looking for something to do in Lowertown for Halloween, this is it. The Lowertown BOOs Bash Bar Crawl is the fourth annual Lowertown has seen! Buy a $20 “BOOs Crawl passport” and receive a free drink at all participating bar crawl locations (tickets are $15 if you purchase them in advance). The event goes from 6pm to midnight. Many of the bar crawl locations offer great drink/food specials and have cash prizes for costume contests! Some costume contests include: Sexiest costume, best group costume, scariest and most original costume. Participating locations include: Senor Wong, The Black Dog, Heartland, Station 4, The Bulldog, Barrio Tequila Bar and Trattoria Da Vinci. Click here for more info on the BOOs Bash Bar Crawl.
